Important note! Do not make vacation plans which overlap with the course meetings, as I will not excuse you to make up exams or turn in work late (so if this happens, you'll lose credit).
The textbooks for Math 101 and Math 161 in Summer Session 2 are the same as the ones we used this past spring. For book info, see the link to the textbook list above.
Instructors in the Math Department don't sign overrides for closed sections of courses. Overrides are only done by the chair or assistant chair. (This policy is different from what other departments do.) If a section is full, then:
Our Drop-Add Table is open during the first week of the term, and is located outside the Math Office. After you've filled out the form, you'll need to stop by the Drop-Add Table once a day during the first week of class to see if you've been given permission to add a section.
If you're locked out of a section for other reasons (like placement or a prerequisite), you should also see the chair or assistant chair.
I won't be around the department until Summer Session 2 starts (on June 15).
If you need to contact me:
Sorry --- I don't take phone calls about course stuff at home.
