Salvation

Acknowledge Your Spiritual Need
God says: "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Our personal sin prevents us from getting to Heaven on our own.
Understand that your sin has deadly consequences
God says: "The wages of sin is death..."
Because of God's holiness He cannot allow sin in His presence or in His heaven.
Recognize you can't do enough good to get to heaven on your own.
God says: "There is none doeth good no not one."
"All of your righteousness is as filthy rags."
Believe that Jesus dioed to take the punishment for your sin.
God says: "But God commendeth (showed) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Repent (turn) from your sin and trust Jesus Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of all your sins.
God says: "Repent ye and believe the gospel (good news)."
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
