The FRC is an organization responsible for
supporting a national network of special education technical assistance. Site
contains links to various regulations and state legislation as well as other
information.

CEC: Council for Exceptional Children
This is an advocacy group that offers lots
of legislative information as well as lesson plans and links.

The CITA is a "nationally recognized

Offers "free and cheap" software

Blindness Resource Center, The New York Institute for Special Education
This is a very large site full of resources
relating to blindness and deaf-blindness, both virtual and print-based.
Advocates a pedagogical
style for teaching mentally impaired students.
Beginnings is a non-profit organization designed to aid parents of
deaf and hearing-impaired children connect to needed resources.
From the Council on Education of the Deaf, this
excellent site offers postings of job ads for deaf educators, web-based
