Media Center

The department has a state-of-the-art Foreign Language Multimedia Center featuring a Tandberg ICM with Divace Duo Level III Recording 2 channel digital system. Additionally, the Center offers a variety of visual and computerized language-learning materials. An extensive library of videotapes provides an opportunity to view feature-length foreign films. The department also offers foreign-language satellite television via the Deutsche Welle, TV5, and other Spanish Channels. Computer work stations allow students to use computerized language-learning software and to complete term papers and reports with specialized language writing software.

Millersville also provides foreign language students with opportunities outside the classroom, such as foreign language clubs and service learning.

Millersville University is located in historic Lancaster County in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The attractive campus covers 225 acres and has many shaded walkways and flower beds creating a park-like atmosphere.
