Geography Major
Environmental Studies - emphasizing physical geography and environmental topics. Environmental topics run through many of the department's courses.
Geospatial Applications - emphasizing the acquisition of skills in geographic information systems (GIS), map use and interpretation, cartography, and basic analytical skills.
Global Studies - emphasizing international understanding. Regional emphases in the department include Latin America, East and Southeast Asia, Europe, and Canada in addition to the United States.
BSE Social Studies - for students majoring in Secondary Education Citizenship with an concentration in Geography.

Geography Minor
The geography minor has the same three concentrations offered to geography majors plus a generic fourth choice.
Environmental Studies - emphasizing physical geography and environmental topics.

General Geography - allowing for a combination of two of the above areas, or for a program tailored to suit particular requirements for the student's major.
