against North Carolina University falling short by 1 in the first game, losing 7-6 with a tie
breaking score by NCU with 3:01 left in the 3rd period. The second game was
not as close with and 8-4 loss. The third game was on Sunday afternoon against The College of New Jersey. Ville did win this game by a

The streaked

goals, Wentland a goal and assist, Sakers with a goal and assist, Snyder with
2 assists, and Spahr with a goal.
The guys are playing like they know how and lets keep it going into

Back
to Back wins!!!
|
|
Another win for the “Ville” after what started out a little
slow the team came together and showed what they are truly made of. Congratulations to Cale Wentland for a
hat trick. Both Spahr and Kirk had power play goals by capitalizing on the
man advantage. The other two goals were
scored by Mowery and Carpenter. Bobby Snyder lead the team in
assists with three. Lets see if this
weekend can make it three in a row.

“VILLE”
is back!
|
|
The team played with the
heart and soul that has been in hibernation for a while. The passing and
position skills showed up on the ice Saturday against LaSalle. With 2 goals
each from both Wentland (85) and Snyder (76) and 1 goal from Carpenter (7)
the Millersville Ice Hockey team brought home a win. There were 3 Power Play
goals, 1 from each of the ‘Ville” scorers mentioned above. Assists on the 5
goals came from Kirk (11) x 2, Miller (23), Snyder (76), Bixler (72) &
Scottoline (48). The Defense played without 2 of the 6 starters. But, the
perseverance and fortitude of the Defense Players was at its best.
Our 2 Goalies each played
half a game with a combined total of 28 saves out of 31 shots on goal.
Congratulations to the
Millersville Marauders Ice Hockey Team.
Let’s fill the bleachers
Saturday December 6th, 5:00pm at Regency when “Ville” hosts
LaSalle in another GNCHC League game.

Another interdivision heartbreaker..
|
|
Last Weekend the Ville dropped a division game to second
ranked C.W. Post but still stays in the middle of pack for rankings.
|
|
After a weekend of hard hockey
|
|
|
The team ended the tournament 1-2, which is nothing to be
ashamed of since every team there was ranked in the nation.

M. Showing the team has promise and ready for a good year.
The Stats from the game and updates are coming.

Another Heartbreaker against St. Joes
|
|
To end the
preseason schedule the non league game was a very physical and tough game
ending with a couple of game suspensions, but on the lighter side of the
game #7 Michael Carpenter had a phenomenal game with 2 goals and 1 assist
getting a point on every goal scored. Now that game is over and gone and
it’s time to look forward to the first league game against F & M.

Ville Drops Two on opening weekend
|
|
The season kicked off with two non league
games against the Blazers. Unfortunately
they dropped both games 4 – 2 and 9 – 4, but it was a good time for
the guys to get used to each other and learn to work as team.
