The former owner, Edward Smith Willard (1853-1915), purchased a number of Mosher's books printed on real vellum. Willard travelled in America from September 29, 1902 to April 27, 1903 where, from Boston, he contacted Mosher. His letters to Mosher from England are located in the Houghton Library's manuscript collections, bMS Am 1096 1613-16, and the following is a cabinet photo of the actor:
