We've got a lot of things which we will be working on in the next few weeks. Our priorities are the following:

* The week we come back after Spring Break we will have a meeting with the people who are in charge of grounds keeping on campus. The time/place of the meeting will be determined soon (most likely to be held on Friday, March 29th) and all members are encouraged to attend. A list of possible plants to include in the garden can be found at the end of this message, courtesy of the Academy of Natural Sciences.

* Insect Theater is scheduled for the night of Thursday, April 9th. (Laurie, if you could, please let the SMC know which two movies we will be showing so that we can get the ball rolling on advertising the event. Possible titles we can show include "A Bug's Life", "Them!", and "Arachniphobia", depending on what is available.)

* We will be discussing the different activities we may have for Insect Appreciation Day which is scheduled for September 5th, 2002. Some ideas for that include having insect foods (Hotlix website: http://www.hotlix.com/index.html , Iowa State University's Tasty Insect Recipes: http://www.ent.iastate.edu/misc/insectsasfood.html , Eatbug.com - Recipes: http://www.eatbug.com/recipes.htm ) and beetle racing. Try to think of some other things we can do for that event!

* T-shirts will be produced soon - we're going to try to have them done by the first of May.

* Details involving the fishing trip will have to be ironed out soon, too.

And if that's not enough to think about, here are some plants to consider for the garden. Until next - uh, in two weeks! (^_^)
